Art Students Helping Children in Haiti at the Cultural Festival

 BeLikeBrit Orphans

We are stepping up our connection to Haiti by painting portraits of the children at the BeLikeBrit orphanage in Haiti.  We are connected to this orphanage by our donation to help construct the building over a year ago.

We continue working on our Homes for Haiti project with the Clinton Museum Store but we needed a closer connection to what children and Haiti need.  We selected an orphan and began our paintings before the Cultural Fair.

BeLikeBrit Orphanage

Ms. Schultz was given a donation of handmade photo frames created by Haitian Artists to raise money to send to the orphanage to help with the care of the children.  We sold several photo frames and as soon as each orphan has a portrait completed we will mail our paintings and a check to support the children's needs for school.
