Silver Key- Alisha Duvall  “Archetype Ingrained”

This piece explores the racial archetypes ingrained in our society. From day one children are taught that dark is evil and light is pure and innocent. This can be translated to race differences and further stereotypes in the United States. 

Honorable Mention- Steven Angtuaco   “Captivity”

The photo illustrates the bond between man and beast apparent despite many differences.  It reflects upon the different worlds that each of us live in.
