Young Arkansas Artist Award and Congressional Art Award

Congratulations!

We have had a very successful art award season.  Here are two recent awards in the past two weekends.  Proud of the Upper School artists.

Congressional Art Competition 2016

We gathered at the Historic Arkansas Heritage Museum on May 3rd to view over 100 works of art submitted for this years Congressional Art Contest.  This year we had 20 art pieces submitted into the contest. 

"First Touch" Third Place Award Winning Art

Kelsey Claybrook placed third in this years contest.  This is the second year Kelsey placed in the top three places.  Congratulations!

Congratulations to Gabriella Rancifer

Best in Class




"Industrial Nature" awarded Best in Class for 9th Grade


There were 525 art submissions made by 161 art teachers from 142 schools across the state. A total of 41 students received awards, only 13 projects were awarded Best in Class.
As a result, Gabi received a $100.00 award and also won $250 for the Episcopal Collegiate Upper School Art Program.

The artwork will be on display at the Arkansas Art Center May 6-July 24th
