Upper School Art Students Donate Funds- Leaving a Legacy!
Our Garden Murals were sold and the Upper School art students donated the earnings to Thea's Art Closet. We selected Sylvan Hills Elementary School to purchase a kiln for Mrs. Barns art classes. Jason Young- Sylvan Hills Elementary School Principal and Candace Barns- the elementary art teacher attended our chapel to receive the donation. Paul Leopoulos the Founder of the Thea Foundation was thrilled with our students donation. This all came together because of the Garden Mural Project from the Little Rock Garden Club represented by Chucki Bradbury, Becky Scott, and Polly Glotzbach. Wonderful Project.

Scholastic Art Award Winners
Congratulations!
Come and support our award winners: Kelvin Robinson, Olivia Moore, Alisha Duvall, Steven Angtuaco, and Braden Seale.
Silver Key- Alisha Duvall “Archetype Ingrained”
This piece
explores the racial archetypes ingrained in our society. From day one children
are taught that dark is evil and light is pure and innocent. This can be
translated to race differences and further stereotypes in the United States.
Honorable Mention- Steven Angtuaco “Captivity”
The photo illustrates the
bond between man and beast apparent despite many differences. It reflects upon the different worlds that
each of us live in.
