We gathered at the Historic Arkansas Heritage Museum on May 3rd to view over 100 works of art submitted for this years Congressional Art Contest. This year we had 20 art pieces submitted into the contest.

Best in Class |
"Industrial Nature" awarded Best in Class for 9th Grade
There were 525 art
submissions made by 161 art teachers from 142 schools across the state. A total
of 41 students received awards, only 13 projects were awarded Best in Class.
As a result, Gabi
received a $100.00 award and also won $250 for the Episcopal Collegiate
Upper School Art Program.
The artwork will
be on display at the Arkansas Art Center May 6-July 24th
